Fourth of July Fireworks
The City of Burley Fire Department will be setting off Fireworks on
the 4th of July at the Burley Golf Course.
The show will begin sometime between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
Night at the Museum
On July 9th, 2021 The Minidoka County Historical Society will be hosting a huge event! We will be putting on the production, "Night at the Museum." Please arrive at 6 pm so you can get a tour and pictures with our very own museum characters. At 7 pm, we will be playing on our projector the movie, "Night at the Museum." During the show you can get hot dogs and popcorn. Donations are encouraged.

Learn the basics of safe handgun ownership and get informed about the rights and responsibilities you have if you carry a handgun. This class will cover basic safety, ownership laws, and the requirements for an enhanced concealed weapon license in Idaho. You will be provided with a Certificate of Completion and all the forms you will need to apply for a concealed weapons permit at the sheriff’s office upon completion of the class. You must furnish your own handgun that is compliant with the concealed weapon laws, 100 rounds of ammunition, safety glasses, and ear protection. Morning class instruction for the class held at the Sherriff’s Office (129 E 14th St, Burley, ID 83318). Afternoon range instruction will take place at the shooting range in Declo (Dep. Bernard will provide directions) Participants will need to arrange their own transportation and bring a sack lunch. Participants must be age 21 or older to participate in the enhanced concealed weapons course. You may register online at https://communityed.csi.edu or call (208) 678-1400.

McCash For Kids Back to School Fund Raiser
On July 13th please join Townsquare Media and McDonald’s of Twin Falls, Buhl, Bliss, Burley, Jerome and Gooding for the 2021 McCash for Kids fund raiser event from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
McCash for Kids helps raise needed funds for school supplies for students in the Magic Valley. Funds raised during the event will benefit South Central Community Action Partnership. SCCAP will make the funds raised available to qualifying families for the purchase of schools supplies for the 2021-2022 school year.
McDonald’s Restaurants will make a donation of 25 percent of the proceeds to SCCAP. All money raised will stay in Magic Valley and will help countless kids.
