| 7/3/2024 | Don't forget to buy your Independence Day 50/50 tickets for this year's drawing on July 3, 2024. Tickets are only $1 each. Last year's prize was $912. You do NOT have to be present to win, but if you want to buy tickets they will still be available to purchase at the Mt. Zion Blue Ribbon Night at Fletcher Park all night until the drawing just before the fireworks. Tickets can be purchased before then from the Mt. Zion Del's Popcorn, Prairie State Bank, and Kenney's Ace Hardware or from any MZCC Board member or Ambassador. Here are some details of what else is available at Blue Ribbon Night. |
| 7/10/2024 | The July 10, 2024 luncheon will be at the Mt. Zion Convention Center. The cost of our luncheon on July 10th is $15. The luncheon starts at 12 noon; registration is from 11:30 - 12 noon.  Drew Keiser will present “HR Hiring Tactics.” Mr. Keiser is the Vice President Global Human Resources for TCCI Manufacturing. He oversees talent management, organizational development, recruitment, employee engagement, and environmental, health & safety. Effective recruiting strategies are crucial for sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent. Come to the July luncheon and find out what tactics Drew uses. Village Parkway from 4:30-6:30 p.m. We will meet on the patio--weather permitting; else we will meet in the separate dining room. (We usually meet the first Thursday of each month; but due to the July 4th holiday, this month's Chamber on the Rocks is a week later.) Chamber on the Rocks is the perfect way to unwind and connect.
