| 11/11/2024 | All area veterans are invited to attend the 2024 Mt. Zion Chamber Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, November 11, 2024. Breakfast is complimentary and will include: scrambled eggs, bacon, donuts, orange juice and coffee. This year it will be held at the Passion Community Church at 4225 Camp Warren Lane, Decatur, IL 62521. It is the largest building on their campus and will have small flags by that building to show you where the entrance is. Doors will open at 0645 in the morning; the program will start at 0700 in the morning. Our keynote speaker this year is Pastor Tracy Smith who served with the United States Marine Corps. The program will also include the Macon County Honor Guard and Mt. Zion High School Mixed Ensemble. After the program, the complimentary breakfast will be served. RSVP's would be appreciated by November 8, 2024, but they are not required. | 11/13/2024 | The November 13, 2024, luncheon will be at the Mt. Zion Fletcher Park Recreation Center. The cost is $15. Registration is from 11:30 - 12 noon. The buffet opens at 11:45. The luncheon starts at 12 noon. Chris Hembrough is the Chief Operating Officer at Peerless Cleaning & Restoration Services. He will be presenting “Strategic Planning for Your Business.” Come hear Chris cover setting long-term goals and best strategies to achieve them. Bring your business cards and network. If you have any information fliers you want to put on the luncheon tables before the luncheon begins, please do so and be sure to pick up any remaining fliers at the end of the luncheon.
