| 9/20/2025 | The Ranch is hosting the upcoming 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's – South OC on September 20th at 9am at Sendero Field. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide and is an inspiring event that calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease. This marks the third year the event will be hosted at RMV, with strong support from RMV residents. Currently, the largest donation comes from the Gavilán Walkers, a group of Gavilán 55+ residents who have participated each year with this year's team their largest yet! Many other RMV residents and community groups will also be walking to support this cause and help advance the mission. Thus far, there will be over 250 participants and over 80 teams, which have already donated over $100,000! There is no fee to register for the Walk, but all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
