FREE LUNCH & LEARN — Stop Being a Victim to the Insurance Buying Process — and Take Control of Your Health Plan Spend

Wednesday, April 22, 2026 | 12:00 – 2:00 PM
WaFd Insurance Group | 5601 Office Blvd., Suite 400 |
Albuquerque, NM
Lunch provided. Seating is limited.

Every year, thousands of New Mexico employers sit across the table from their carrier, accept a 10–18% renewal increase, and walk away believing they had no other choice.

They did.

They just didn't know it.

The traditional insurance buying process is designed to keep employers in the dark. Carriers control your claims data, set the renewal number, and profit from your silence. Without transparency, you can't challenge what you're charged — and without alternatives, you can't leave.

That changes on April 22nd. Join Will "Bull" Belletto (VP of Employee Benefits, WaFd Insurance Group & NM First Health Rosetta Advisor), Robert McCollins (CEO, Employers Healthcare Alliance), and Ryan Garner, PharmD (Owner, Apothicor Wellness) for a free, no-fluff Lunch & Learn built specifically for Albuquerque employers who are ready to stop accepting renewals as inevitable.

THE COST OF DOING NOTHING: A fully-insured plan trending at 10% annually costs 61% more after five years. A self-funded or captive alternative at 4% trend costs 22% more over the same period. That 39-point gap is not an abstraction — on 50 employees it's $75,000+ per year. On 100+, it reshapes your margins.

Every year you wait, the gap widens.

YOUR FREE CLAIMS DATA ANALYSIS

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: Every registered attendee is eligible to receive a no-cost claims data analysis before the event. To participate, simply submit an employee and dependent census — a list of who is currently on your health plan. That is all we need to show you where your health dollars are actually going and whether you are overpaying on your current fully-insured plan. Want to go deeper?

If you also share your current plan details, we will run it through the Health Rosetta Plan Grader — an independent scoring tool that benchmarks your plan against best-in-class alternatives and shows you exactly where you are leaving money on the table. This is the data your carrier has never shown you. You will have it in hand before you walk in the door. WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH: — Your own personalized claims data analysis — at no charge — showing where your health dollars are going and whether you are overpaying

An optional Health Rosetta Plan Grader score benchmarking your current plan against alternatives
— A clear picture of how the traditional insurance buying process works against you
— The 5-year cost comparison: fully insured at 10% trend vs. self-funded at 4% trend
— Strategies to use your own data to challenge your next renewal
— A framework for evaluating self-funded, level-funded, and captive options for groups of 30–300
— Pharmacy cost strategies that reduce spend without disrupting employee care

THIS IS NOT A SALES PITCH. It is a data conversation and you will leave with your own numbers in hand.

IDEAL FOR: CFOs, business owners, HR directors, and finance leaders at companies with 30–300 employees on their health plan. Fully-insured groups of any carrier welcome. REGISTER & SUBMIT YOUR CENSUS: Email williamb@wafdinsurance.com with the subject line "I'm In" to reserve your seat. Once registered, you will receive simple instructions for submitting your employee and dependent census to receive your free analysis prior to the event. Space is limited. Lunch is on us.
