Cribbage!

Now that football is over, Main Street Sports Bar will be adding Cribbage to our line up! Cribbage tutorials will begin at 1 pm and go until 1:45 pm. Tournament play will start at 2 pm. The weekly Cribbage Tournament will have an $11 buy-in and will go nine games. If you're a beginner you can stay and play with a friend and enter the tournament at a later time when you feel ready.

Open to all youth from 3rd through 12th grades and adult community members are invited.  Children in 3rd through 6th grades must be accompanied by a parent who will stay on-site for the duration of the child's stay.  Non-marking tennis or basketball shoes are required.  Bring your own basketball.

3rd Annual Easter Scramble

Pick up your game cards at The Toy Store!  Each card contains a list of participating Chamber member businesses you will need to visit to find the Golden Egg.  Once you've found all the Golden Eggs, complete your information on the back of the game card and return to The Toy Store by 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st.  New this year: adult cards and kid cards!  A winner will be chosen from each group and announced closer to Easter.

The High Sierra Parent Conference is a FREE and FUN event for parents and caregivers.

Raising and caring for children is the hardest and most important job there is! This day is designed for participants to walk away feeling refreshed, inspired and with some new tools to add to their parenting toolbox. Attendees can expect food, conversation and expert information on child development and parenting!

Parent Cafe- The day will kick off with a Parent Cafe! Parent Cafes are safe spaces where parents and caregivers can talk about the victories and challenges of raising a family.

How to Love your Kids and Like them Too! Parenting Tips that Improve Relationships- At this workshop we will equip parents with positive discipline skills and help them learn skills to build lifelong close family relationships. We will help parents learn how to replace negative and ineffective discipline with an effective and playful approach. We will teach parents how to reach their best parenting potential through truly discovering their and their child's unique personality.
