Vaudeville Side Show

Quircus “The Quincy Circus” is proud to debut our Vaudeville Sideshow! On Friday, October 15th we will be performing at "FreQuincy" located at Drunk Brush Wine Bar, 436 Main St, Quincy, California. Smokey the Groove, a funk band from Chico, will be playing live music from 7-10pm. Quircus will perform during the band intermission. Quircus Carnival Booth will provide popcorn, merchandise and playtime for the young, and young at heart.

Prepare to be amazed and spellbound with 12 incredible circus acts ranging from sideshow stunts to aerial dancing to fire spinning. The skills of seven talented performers have combined to create so much WOW factor to keep you wanting more. Quircus celebrates six years entertaining audiences in Quincy and beyond under the non-profit fiscal receiver Plumas Arts, by offering shows, workshops, carnival games and more fun activities in our community.

We have been working hard on this new 20 minute choreographed circus show since May. We were prepared to perform in July alongside the same band and venue, when the Dixie Fire consumed our lives. We also missed the opportunity to perform our show in August at the Plumas-Sierra County Fair that was cancelled. Just like everyone else around here facing hardships and setbacks, we have learned to adapt and persevere.

We will be “passing around the hat” collecting cash donations for our organization. It is our pleasure to take you on an exciting journey of the senses. We are happy to spread more smiles and fun in Plumas County! Join us in appreciating the good times with each other.
