We Saw The Light's Fundraising Event - Saturday, August 5th starting at Adagio's Pizza Factory in New Brighton, MN. Kickstands up at 11:00 then return at 3:30 for a pizza party and prizes. Raffles, pizza and ride. Can join pizza party only if interested.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn about the Twin Cities Gateway and what it does for our community.
2. Discover how the ten north suburban cities compare to USA and Minnesota in tourism results,
3. Explore Twin City Gateway marketing strategies and the halo effect of tourist becoming residents or business owners in the area.

Speaker Bio: Al Stauffacher, Executive Director for the Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau
Al holds a degree in Sports Marketing from Metropolitan State. As of 2020 he is the director of Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau which promotes the visitation to the ten north suburban cities. Prior to taking over as Director, Al had previously been their initial president beginning in 2010 until he took over the sports marketing position in 2016.

Al lives in Ham Lake, MN with wife of 25 years (Stacia) and 3 children (Greta 22, Grace 20 and Garrett 18). He is a past president of the Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the board for the Minnesota Association of CVBs and is Vice-President of the Minnesota Sports Alliance. Al loves to play broomball, softball and golf and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

About the Twin Cities Gateway:Twin Cities Gateway (TCG) Visitors Bureau was formed in 2010. The TCG promotes the visitation to the ten north suburban cities of Anoka, Arden Hills, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Ham Lake, Lino Lakes, Mounds View, New Brighton and Shoreview.

Join us August 17th from 6pm - 8pm for the Centennial Sings Competition (AKA MN Sings Competition). This event is part of the Food Truck & Fun Festival put on by Centennial School District and the Quad Area Chamber of Commerce at Centennial Middle School. 

There are two age categories for the sing competition. The age groups are 13yrs - 20yrs AND 21yrs +.
