At Pauley Jones Funeral Home, we recognize that no loss is more profound than that of a child. This month, we pause to remember the precious little ones gone too soon and honor the families who carry their memory in their hearts each day.

On Wednesday, October 15th at 7 p.m., the Myrtue Medical Center Birthing Center will be hosting a community remembrance ceremony as part of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Families and friends are invited to come together in love and support, lighting candles in unity for the Wave of Light - a symbol that no child is ever forgotten.

In addition, Pauley Jones Funeral Home (1304 9th Street, Harlan) will have a candle memorial table available all day on October 15th. We welcome anyone in the community to stop in, light a candle, and take a quiet moment of reflection in honor of a beloved child.

To the parents, grandparents, siblings, and loved ones who have walked this difficult path, please know you are not alone. We hold you in our thoughts, today and always.
