Wildland - Urban Interface (WUI) Uintah Basin Joint Open House
Vernal City - Naples City - Uintah County - Ballard

Learn about WUI areas, mapping and wildlife preparedness in the Uintah Basin

The Wildland - Urban Interface (WUI) is the zone where human-built environments (homes, communities) meet or mix with undeveloped wildland (forests, grasslands), creating a high-risk area for intense wildfires due to flammable vegetation and human ignition sources.

This is an informational open house. No decisions will be made at this event. For more information regarding Wildland-Urban Interface (House Bill 48) see ffsl.utah.gov/wuirisk/
