In-Person Private Applicator Continuing Instruction Courses (P-CICs) provide Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship-Pesticide Bureau-approved training for individuals who are currently certified as a private pesticide applicator. P-CICs are offered from December 1st to April 15th each year. Applicators who choose to maintain their certification by attending an approved P-CIC must attend a program during each year their certification card covers, including the year they passed the exam (if certification occurs prior to October 1). If a P-CIC is missed in one or more years of their three-year cycle, the applicator is required to take the certification exam through IDALS to renew their certification.
Participants will receive required training for certification on safety, regulations, nutrient value, and economics of manure management.

Blocks are mental barriers and negative programming in our subconscious from the stories we heard or experiences we had growing up. As a result of these blocks, it unconsciously resists us from experiencing our desired outcomes (weight loss, loving relationships, and financial wealth for example). With recent world events and the economy, so many people are experiencing a mindset block to financial abundance and live in a higher stress environment with a lack and scarcity mindset. This session will include sharing out on the 7 blocks of financial abundance as well as techniques to start the unblocking process.

The films we will be showing are Tryouts Today, which is an animated short about Two aspiring superheroes make an unexpected connection while waiting in line to try out for the Des Moines Defenders and John - The Last Cowboy which is a feature film about 92-year-old John Hoiland runs his huge ranch in Montana all by himself. The son of a Norwegian immigrant, he has been raised to work hard and save his dollars for a rainy day. Through the years, people have offered him big money for his land. But life on the ranch is the only life he wants, and he finds great joy in the nature surrounding him, the freedom to work on his own land and daily conversations with his best friend Jim. "JOHN – The Last Cowboy" is a poetic tribute to the simple life, a peaceful escape from fast-paced modern society and a subtle reminder of what is lost.
