Weave a scarf for summer learning hand manipulated weaving techniques and incorporate the use of beads.  You will be creating a unique beautiful scarf to wear all summer long.  Knowledge of basic weaving principles required.  Guided by Michelle Haselton of Lakes Basin Creations. Join us in this special opportunity to learn the tips and tricks of creating traditional, hand-made, wool braided rugs.  Learn all the basic skills needed for braiding wool rugs to complete a round chair mat.  With the skills learned, you will be able to continue enlarging your rug at home if desired.  For more details and supply list, go to  Workshop guided by Virginia Morrow.

A non-profit fundraiser to assist in the restoration of the historic White Sulphur Springs Ranch site in Plumas County.  This year, the 9th consecutive, the entertainment will be provided by the Comstock Cowboys of Virginia City, Nevada.  Attendees will enjoy a hearty ranch barbecue and both live and silent auctions.  This is an outdoor event.  Bring a lawn chair but no pets please.
