About Sourdough Slim
Audiences step back in time with an authentic vaudeville style cowboy show in the Will Rogers tradition. Sourdough Slim is a veritable "one-man Western extravaganza", crooning Western classics, playing the accordion, guitar, and harmonica, dancing a jig, dishing out hilarious comedic sketches and letting loose with award-winning yippie-ti-yi-yodeling. A favorite entertainer at cowboy gatherings and county fairs around the country, he's also played the big time, wowing audiences at venues including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. A rollicking good time for audiences of all ages.
About the Arts and Ag Tour
The art and agriculture communities of Plumas and Sierra Counties are inviting the public to spend an awesome autumn day, enjoying the history, culture, and bounty of one of their treasures: Sierra Valley.

The fourth annual Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail will take place on Sept 28, 2019 from 10 AM to 4 PM at many different locations across Sierra Valley with local artists at each ranch or historic building.
The Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail is a free self-guided tour of market farms, working ranches (many featuring 100+ year old dairy barns), other historic buildings and a pumpkin patch, where local artists and their works of every color – wood, paint, glass, ceramic, metal, fiber and more – are hosted for the day.
Start the day at one of three "Trailhead" information centers located at the Sierra Valley Grange in Vinton, Sierra Valley Farms on A-23 in Beckwourth, and Sierraville School on Hwy 89 in Sierraville. Travel through Sierra Valley and have great views of brightly colored Barn Quilts on many barns and buildings. View birds like the Sandhill Cranes and Yellow Headed Blackbirds as well as other wildlife as the roads cross beautiful wetlands.
To end the day enjoy a delicious reasonably priced tri-tip dinner, from 4 – 6 PM cooked by the Plumas-Sierra Cattlemen’s Association & the Plumas- Sierra Cattle Women at the Sierra Valley Grange Hall in Vinton. There will also be a drawing for artwork and other donated prizes at the end of the day at the Grange Hall.
