From 1983 to 1990 SRV was the leading light in American blues, consistently selling out concerts while his albums went gold. His tragic death in 1990 at the age of 35 cut short a brilliant career as he was on the brink of superstardom.

It turns out that he is not only the scion of one of the country’s wealthiest families but also one of its most sought-after bachelors. Being on her boyfriend's arm means she's targeted by jealous socialites--and also by his disapproving mother.
