Slow down and immerse yourself in nature through the relaxing practice of Forest Bathing. Join Naturalist Carrie and Forest Therapy Guide Jane for this mindful, easy wander with simple invitations for activities to awaken the senses and connect closely with nature. This is a moderate to difficult hike due to 700 ft. elevation change. Dress in layers, bring water and snack.

Some of our activities include: Luncheons, Bridge, Mahjongg, Sewing and Crafts, Hiking, Happy Hour, Poker, Book Club, Mexican Train, Bunco, Movie/Lunch combos, and more! 
Come join us for our monthly field trip. Guests are welcome! In November, we'll travel down to Pueblo on Weds, the 13th to visit the Rosemount Victorian House and Museum. 
Cost is $5.
The tour will begin at 11am. Please provide your own transportation and be there by 10:45am. Carpooling option.
Space is limited to the first 10 people who sign up.

Woodland Park steps into the holiday season with a special presentation of George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” on  performed by the Colorado Springs Chorale and accompanied by the 150-member Chamber Orchestra of the Springs.

This banner event will take place at The Auditorium, a world-class performing arts center on the campus of Charis Bible College. This 3,100-seat venue will open its doors open at 12:30 pm for the 2pm performance.

Come enjoy a dinner sleigh ride with your family, and ours. Start off the evening with a sunset horse drawn sleigh ride up to the dining hall. Take a seat and enjoy the Brisket, Chicken, or Veggie dinner. The dinner comes with sides, a roll, and a homemade dessert. Listen to our two wranglers sing country, and Christmas songs with two stepping and line dancing. Head back over to the sleigh and finish off the night with a magical star lit ride to your vehicles.

If you do not see a date that works for you please feel free to give us a call!

Please note that sleigh rides are snow permitted. If we do not have enough snow the ride becomes a wagon ride, which is similar to the sleigh with wheels instead of runners.

Join Volunteer Naturalist Nancy on this 4-mile hike to include Black Bear, Geer Pond and Homestead trails.  See interesting rock formations, beautiful views of Pikes Peak foothills and a hike through dense conifer forest.

The hike is rated moderate due to steep hills and high elevation.

Be prepared for winter hiking and bring plenty of water.
