Sheriff Mikesell, and staff along with the Honorary Deputy Sheriffs Association board members will be on hand to meet you and chat with folks from throughout the community. We will have free food; hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and snow cones. We hope to see you for our annual kickoff to summer event. You won't want to miss the fun. Vince and Larry the crash dummies, Search and Rescue, E-911 Smoke trailer, the volunteer Posse and Reserves will all be at the event as well as the Colorado State Patrol. UNVEILING OF NEW ALBUM
The day is finally here! After over four years of work, Rose and The Thorn are unveiling their new album MOJO. Saturday, June 7 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center. Doors open at 3:00 for the concert of the Summer starting at 4pm! Tickets ($20) are available at the door - but are expected to sell out so get there early. The concert will start with Dalton LaFever showing off with his new album then followed with the one and only, brand new, Rose and The Thorn Band playing the MOJO album. This show will benefit the Ute Pass Symphony Guild and the Symphony Above The Clouds. Food will be available by Danny’s Thai food. We promise you that you’ll not want to miss this monumental show. All ages are welcome; bows have a draw weight of 6-20lbs. A nerf bow station will be available for those unable to pull back the bow string. Some adaptable equipment is available. Join Forest Therapy Guide, Jane, for this peaceful 1 mile wander with prompts to quiet the mind, open the senses and connect closely with yourself & the land, closing with tea brewed from local plants. Have you ever wanted to learn more about the ponds and critters at Mueller State Park? Investigate aquatic life in the park, become a Junior Ranger and collect a dragonfly keychain. Children and their grown ups should attend together. There is limited parking at Peak View trailhead. Homestead trailhead and the Comfort Station are close by and have extra parking.

The show will include vendors selling polished gems, hand-crafted jewelry, rough slabs, specimens, cabochons, geodes, turquoise, and more. There will also be gold and gem panning at the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Show hours are from 9 to 5 Friday and Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday.
Saturday night, June 20, the City of Victor will sponsor free live music on the Pinnacle Park Plaza stage. Come enjoy a cold drink and take in the concert, shop for gems and jewelry, and relax in the mountain air. This is the first in a series of summer concerts hosted by the city. Concerts are free and are scheduled for several Saturday nights through August.
Friday through Sunday SSR Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining will offer yours of the modern gold mine. Victor Main Street will host a kid’s pet rock event, and local businesses will host special events.

Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine (CC&V) invites local residents, community leaders, and interested stakeholders to attend a Community Open House on Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Aspen Mine Center.
This event is an opportunity for community members to learn more about ongoing mining operations and future plans at CC&V. Representatives from various departments will be on hand to share updates and answer questions.
