The Irvington Farmers Market celebrates area farms and the best quality local produce available. We’re talking amazing farm-to-table! We showcase brilliant vendors from across the region who offer fabulous hand-crafted items and amazing food!
You'll find artisanal cheeses, local honey, meat, and seafood. Vendors with handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing. Beautiful handcrafted furniture, baskets, soaps, glassware, and artwork of all kinds. A cornucopia of food, flowers, and gifts! Come hungry… there will be LOTS of delicious food!
And it gets better... Listen to live music! Brilliant musicians perform at each market.

NORTHERN NECK ORCHESTRA CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT ON NOVEMBER 5
WILL FEATURE PIANO QUARTETS BY ROBERT SCHUMANN AND JOHANNES BRAHMS
The Northern Neck Orchestra’s 2023-2024 Chamber Music series continues with “Piano
Quartets,” featuring the deeply emotional music of two giants of the Romantic period – Robert
Schuman and Johannes Brahms -- on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Good Luck Cellars,
1025 Goodluck Road in Kilmarnock
The concert will be performed by Moises Cunha, violin, Luis Eduardo Bellorin, viola, Jake
Fowler, cello, and André Golbert, piano. Cunha, the Concertmaster and Principal Violinist of the
Northern Neck Orchestra, is Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Series.
Tickets for “Piano Quartets” are $35.00 and may be purchased online at
www.northernneckorchestra.org and at the door. Students are admitted free.

Celebrating its tenth year, Taste by the Bay is the (sellout!) event of the year on the Northern Neck. Sample wines from Virginia wineries, food from local restaurants and food vendors and craft beers from Virginia breweries. Spend time shopping in pop-up shops featuring local artists. Enjoy live music on the patio and on the pool deck at the beautiful Tides Inn Resort overlooking Carters Creek. Revel in the beauty that’s the Northern Neck.

Jae Sinnett is a professional performing artist—drumming phenomenon, composer and music educator—who has had a major impact on the jazz industry for the past 30 years. Sinnett has 16 recordings as a leader and has appeared on several more recordings as a sideman.

Tickets are $30 each.

Original show was scheduled for Saturday, September 23 at Lancaster Players. Those reservations will be honored.

JOIN US for the VIA's 23rd annual Irvington Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. It's a scenic run through Historic Irvington for those serious competitors and a fun jog/walk/hop/skip/jump for the rest of us. The Turkey Trot is a “must-do” event for the Thanksgiving holiday on the Northern Neck of Virginia. The annual Turkey Trot and Animal Food Drive are organized by the dedicated volunteers of the Village Improvement Association.

ENTRY FEES (Fees go up $5 after Nov. 10th)

Join in the fun! It’s the countdown to Christmas with the annual community tree lighting. A special guest will join the festivities. He will stop by to greet the merrymakers before he quickly heads back to the North Pole. This is a FREE event for the community. Free Hot Cocoa and Cookies from Local Toys for Tots.

Join us as we kickoff the Festival of Trees celebration with an evening of family fun.
We will celebrate with exciting family games, refreshments, door prizes, songs, and a visit with Santa. Attendees will be the first to see the unveiling of the Silent Auction and will be able to sign up for online bidding.  
Beginning November 27, register and preview auction items. 
You do not need to be present to bid on silent auction items.

Join us for an in-person visit with Emma Grey, author of the soon-to-be-published novel, The Last Love Note. Emma will be joining us in-person from Australia on Thursday, November 30 at 6pm.

Emma will discuss her new book, take questions and sign books. This promises to be yet another deep, connective event for our Irvington book community so we hope you can join us!

Your ticket cost includes a paperback copy of the book, intimate meet-and-greet with the author and fun with your local book community. Light refreshments will be served.
