You and your chamber members are invited to join us on our annual trip to Boise to meet with Idaho Legislators and other state leaders. Events are planned for Tuesday, February 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All events will be held at The Grove Hotel in Boise. 
 
HOTEL ROOMS: We have a block of rooms reserved at the Grove Hotel. Your room reservations must be made directly by you before January 14th, 2019 to receive the rate of $139 per night. To reserve, call the hotel directly toll free at (888) 961-5000 and mention the Idaho Chamber Alliance block.

Learn basics of handling, molding, shaping and throwing clay. Explore an array of ceramic building and glazing techniques while developing your own personal style using clay as an expressive medium. From the raw clay to a finished beautiful piece suitable for food use or decoration. Craft bowls, cups, or a wind chimes, or even that museum forgery! This course is reserved for beginning level participants, but this is not the old “ashtray” class; students will do free-hand, molding, wheel-throwing, and slab building. Participants must be 16 +yrs to register. Fee: $75 + supplies ($20/20 lb. bag of clay paid to instructor)

In this interactive workshop, learn how to use the free cloud storage that is available through Google Photos.  In this session, we will find, organize, and edit the pictures that can be automatically downloaded to the Google Photo Cloud site.  Bring your phone to work from the App, or have a Gmail address to log into a desktop computer.    Using Google Photos can free up space on your phone or computer and make your images more accessible.

This is a introductory yoga course is designed to introduce you to the poses of yoga, breathing techniques and Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga.  To successfully help individuals manage stress while obtaining a moderate exercise experience.  Each class will start with a warm up, Sun Salutation A, Sun Salutation B, specific poses for the week, a breathing technic combined with a specific stress intention to help manage stress in our daily lives.  We will touch on the 8 limbs of yoga to eliminate pain, stress, and help build a stronger yoga community in Cassia County.  Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, (or a mat may be provided by the college) and dress comfortably.

The first meeting of PAUSE, formerly known as SPAN, will be held February 20, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Perkins Restaurant in North Burley in their North Dining Room.  The group's new status as an off-shoot from SPAN will be discussed.  There are several committees that need to be filled by members interested in curbing the alarming rise of suicides in our community.  Please plan to attend and participate in this worthwhile cause.

Leadership MC continues to seek the brightest, best, most energetic and interested participants.  To be considered your company must be a member in good standing of the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce.  There’s no better way to develop your leadership skills, get to know the Mini-Cassia area, and discover ways to contribute to your community.  This class provides an inside look at how community leaders and businesses are getting the job done, as well as develop lifelong contacts.
 
Established in 2004, the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce has been preparing future leaders through its Leadership MC program.

It's time to get these digital images and albums off your device or desktop computer and into the hands of family and friends.  We will review photobooks and digital scrapbooking resources available to you so that your pictures can become special gifts for all!     We will teach you how to organize a book or scrapbook pages, but the finished product will be up to you to order.   There is no pressure to make a final project, but we will equip you with tips and tools to make something special!
