The Family Business Committee of The Malta Chamber is launching its landmark event for family businesses. Through a series of interventions and panel discussions, industry representatives and experts in the field will discuss the pivotal importance of governance and planning for family businesses as well as the rising priorities of the environment and digitalisation.

The German-Maltese Business Council and The Malta Chamber are pleased to invite you to an information and networking event which will take place at the Malta Chamber and it will be providing useful information on how to set up business in Germany.
The session will take the relational approach and participants would be able to understand better the German “personality/character” and the language perspective.
The speakers will recount their experiences and present practical ways and tips on how to go about setting up business in Germany.

The Malta Chamber and the Malta Business Bureau, in collaboration with the General Workers Union, are organising a business seminar entitled ‘The Ripple Effect of AI’ as part of the TransformWork Project, which aims to promote a discussion on different aspects of digitalization at the workplace. Artificial Intelligence plays an important role in making business operations more efficient, but it does not come without potential impact on workers. During this event, we will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence at the workplace and learn more about the recent EU legislative initiatives in the field of AI. A discussion will follow with social partners and experts in the field of AI.

Water is an underappreciated expense and resource in the manufacturing process. Innovations to address water efficiency are another step which industry can take to address its cost-base while as well as its energy and sustainability targets. This webinar will showcase best practices such as rainwater harvesting and using it for process cooling, which can be widely applied across industry.
Water management is expected to take a more pronounced role amongst the metrics for sustainability. Investments in this regard will also anticipate future increases in water costs from what is an increasingly strained resource in Malta.
This is an event in the WE MAKE series, which is a collaboration between MBB, EWA & The Malta Chamber.
