Annie’s Star Quilt Guild will exhibit more than 250 original quilts representing multiple techniques at its biennial quilt show and a special exhibit of creations by featured quilter Missie Carpenter. Oroville's Two Chinatowns and the Lava Beds ( A history from the 1850's to the 1940's)
Hosted by the Butte County Historical Society

Following our annual membership meeting and elections on November 12th, Larry Mauch will be presenting his research on the Chinatowns of the Oroville area, exploring how and where the Chinese people lived, worked and conducted their daily business. Based on the research and interviews with descendants of the Oroville area Chinese, Larry's program promises to be a fascinating look at Oroville's past.

The fun begins at 1 pm at the BCHS Museum, 1749 Spencer Avenue, in Oroville. Refreshments will be available. We hope to see you there.

As always, our general membership meetings and programs are open to the public. Donations at the door are graciously accepted.

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period lasts from October 15 – December 7.

Bring your list of prescriptions and your Medicare card to the Enloe Conference Center at 1528 Esplanade in Chico on November 15th from 10am-1pm.

Registered Medicare counselors will be on site and available to assist with Plan D or Medicare Advantage Plan comparisons and changes.
