The Life Is A Maze(ing) simulation allows youth to experience 4 weeks of what it is like for adults to go to work, get their kids to school, pay bills, and take care of life’s circumstances. Students will be divided into 14 families, each of a varying education level obtained and the corresponding income level. Varying levels of education will be represented: left high school early, have either a GED/high school diploma, trade/tech school degree, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or a doctorate. Students will be given a monthly income and a budget sheet to help them plan their bills for the month.

We need 14-24 volunteers to serve as the station hosts where students pay bills, get resources, etc. The stations include: Bank, Career Services, Health Department, DFACS, Food Mart, and School/Day Care. More details will be given to those who volunteer.
