Free tax preparation is part of The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, a national program that offers help to people who make a limited income and need assistance preparing their tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic tax return preparation with electronic filing.
It's free! Think of what you've paid in previous years – and put that money in your pocket.
It's fast! The Valet component only takes 15 to 30 minutes. Your documents are reviewed and scanned, sent to a certified tax preparer. It takes one to two weeks and then they call you.
You approve before they file it: either through an encrypted (safe) email or you pick up at a VITA location
They efile for you – both state and federal.
The money comes directly to you: You can have it direct deposited or put on a debit card.
They make sure you get ever dollar back you are owed.
The most important thing: bring all your documents.
Taxpayers must bring:
Picture I.D. for taxpayer and spouse. Both spouses must be present to sign documents! Social Security card for EACH family member
Proof of income, including W2s and 1099s
Account and routing numbers for direct deposit of refunds
Documentation for deductible expenses such as home mortgage interest or real estate taxes.
Forms 5498-SA and 1099-SA for Health Savings Accounts and 1095A for Affordable Care Act.
Taxpayers without the required documents cannot be assisted.

When a young couple is offered an ideal house by a mysterious stranger, it prompts the question: How far would any of us go to get our dream home? A fast-paced, pitch-black comedy, RADIANT VERMIN is a provocative satire about consumerism, gentrification, and inequality. “A blithely told fable for the age of unaffordable housing. Like a Brothers Grimm story, it is executed with its own consistent fantasy logic, deployed to remind us of the dangers of getting what we wish for…it makes for nasty and energetic fun…” —The New York Times
