*All Entries with horses must provide their own clean-up begin their entry!
*In compliance with State and local legal restrictions

Reptiles of the World Lecture

The Utah Field House welcomes Leah Stutz from the
Hutchings Museum in Lehi, Utah along with a whole host of amazing
reptiles. Leah will introduce us to both native and non-native herpes,
with several genera of snakes, including an eight pound Red-tailed
Boa named Squiggles, a leash trained African Savannah Lizard
named Joanna, and Phyllis, the bearded dragon.  This is a 
great opportunity to meet these animals face to face and learn
more about their unique adaptations and the important role they play
in a healthy environment.

This lecture is free to the public.  For more information please
contact the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum.

The Ashley National Forest invites you to attend an open house meeting
on Thursday, July 19th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Jordan W. Smith, Ph.D. 
the Director of the Institute of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Assistant
Professor, Department of Environment and Society at Utah State University,
will speak at 6:00pm about the Social Economic Benefits of Recreation on the
Ashley National Forest.
Some of the other stations set up at the meeting will include maps and information
about Recreation Management Areas, Wild and Scenic River eligibility
and Wilderness Evaluation.
As part of this open house comment forms will be available to capture
comments on the desired (future) conditions for recreation on the Ashley 
National Forest from those attending.

Come Join the fun on July 28, 2018 for the Annual Health Fair, sponsored by Mountainlands Community Health.  It will kick off at 9:00 am and go until 1:00 pm.  The Health Fair will be held in conjunction with the Farmers Market, held on the Library Lawn.  You do not want to miss this years Health Fair with prizes, food and fun along with the Helicopter to tour.
