Key's Cafe - Upstairs conference room
2208 4th Street, White Bear Lake
Tuesday, April 2nd
7:30 - 9:00am

We will learn how to save money the easy way...Recycle! Most business owners are unaware of the hefty tax on their garbage. In Ramsey County, garbage service for businesses is taxed at 70%, and in Washington County, garbage service for businesses is taxed at 53%. Joel Anderson, Ramsey County BizRecycling will explain how easy it is to get started with or expand a business recycling program. Although there are a lot of compelling reasons for businesses to do a better job of recycling, one of the biggest incentives is the potential to save money. There are simple things businesses can do to reduce their garbage expenses.

Everyone will have an opportunity to market their business while enjoying a fantastic breakfast! The only cost to attend is for your breakfast. Please RSVP as space is limited.

Hog Wash offers a tunnel car wash and a motorcycle wash as well as detailing services. We detail cars, motorcycles, buses, boats, and whatever fits in our two-story bays.
This spring, we will present a fully automatic touch-less motorcycle wash, like nothing seen in America. The upgrade is not a replacement to our current tunnel car wash but rather an addition to the wash.

The illusion of movement created from seemingly static objects is an element I am constantly striving to achieve in my work. Like the microscopic shifts in our human bodies to the cosmic movement of a galaxy, the parts of the whole are always in motion and that is what much of this body of artwork is focused around. Light and shadow and how those elements play off the colors, textures, and shapes within the finished piece are also part of my process. The artwork in this collection are my interpretations of color and composition of the natural world around me—some fantastic, and some grounded. These pieces connect something in my mind to the fascinating universe around us.

Marijuana Legalization & The Workforce
What it Means for Employers
April 29, 2019
The Best Western Plus / North Metro Event Center

Guest Speaker: Curtis Graves, Esq.
SPHR Colorado
Employer's Council
Moderated by Tom Hauser, KSTP TV
The legalization of recreational marijuana in Minnesota could   become a reality, as early as this year. While there are many social aspects to this debate, the issue that has hardly been discussed relates to the impact of marijuana usage on employee policies, overall employee productivity, and other factors affecting the workplace itself. Mr. Curtis Graves, Esp. SPHR, of the Colorado Employer’s Council will share insights on these, and other, topics that Colorado businesses have addressed since 2014 when marijuana became legal in their state. Moderated by Tom Hauser, KSTP TV.

The cost to attend this luncheon is $35 for Chamber Members and $45 for Non-Chamber Members. Space is limited and registration is required.
