We are once again back, live and in person at Key's Cafe in lovely downtown White Bear Lake. Grace Melek, Owner of Success Fitness & Training will be talking about strategies for starting and MAINTAINING a health/fitness journey. She will be discussing the most common people struggle to maintain the lifestyle they desire, and then she will provide helpful tips for how to set yourself up for Success (pun totally intended).
After the short presentation, we will continue on with our Chamber Networking Connections program where you will enjoy meeting our newest members, connecting with other business leaders, growing your area network, sharing ideas and promoting your business. This is a vibrant and welcoming group and we look forward to being back together in person, enjoying a fabulous breakfast and engaging in great conversations!
We will be following all of Key's Cafe's COVID protocols and seating will be limited. Cost is only for your breakfast and please register early to reserve your space!

Is it important to your family to be active LGBTQ allies? Do your kids have queer and trans friends that need help feeling affirmed and safe at school? Are you part of a school PTO? Join Gender Inclusive Schools and Welcoming Schools for our “LGBTQ+ Family Allyship Workshop”.
This 90-minute interactive training will provide examples of ways to teach your kids about S.O.G.I.E (sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression) organizing family diversity events, advocating for LGBTQ-inclusive policies and training for school staff, and concrete language your family can use to interrupt bias-based behaviors in community settings. Every participant will leave with a wealth of resources to share with the members of their school community.

Speaker Bio: Dave Edwards, PhD (ABD), MAT, has served as a teacher, administrator, and a full-time faculty at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and Hamline University. As the founder of Gender Inclusive Schools, and a Welcoming Schools national facilitator, Dave provides whole-staff training and consultation to wide-ranging audiences across the United States and Canada. Dave serves on the board of the Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition and is heavily involved with Transforming Families MN. As a parent advocate, Dave has been quoted in national publications such as the New York Times, NBC News, and Rolling Stone. Dave and his wife Hannah were recognized with the 2019 Ann Kaner-Roth Ally for Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign.
