Mark your calendars... this year’s trivia night fundraiser is Friday, March 13th at Adventure Unknown (note new location) in Fenton! Proceeds from this event go directly to fund scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors in our local area.

Are you Smarter Than a Graduate? Put your knowledge to the test at the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce annual Trivia Night Fundraiser! This year’s “Smarter Than a Graduate” theme features themed rounds inspired by areas of knowledge that may have you saying, “I should have known that!”—from classroom classics to everyday know-how.
Gather your team for a night of friendly competition, laughter, and community connection, all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the event go directly toward the Fenton Chamber Scholarship Fund, helping graduating high school seniors pursue their next chapter in education or other trade trajectories.

Whether you’re in it to win or just along for the fun, Trivia Night is a meaningful way to give back while enjoying a high-energy, feel-good evening with friends, coworkers, and fellow community members. Bragging rights are on the line—and so is the future of our local students! We'll have plenty of snacks and beverages are included: wine, beer, soda, water. Of course, attendees are always welcome to bring their own food. There will be several raffles and other opportunities to win some great prizes!

We are looking for sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers! There are sponsor packages starting at just $100, many of which include event attendees, advertising and promotion in coordination with the event. Donations are accepted for prizes as well as for raffles or silent auction items. Volunteers are vital to the event's success! Help us make this year a sold out fundraiser which supports our ability to carry out the mission of the Fenton Chamber.

Program: The Story Only You Can Tell
In a crowded and competitive world, your story is one of your greatest assets. Join us for this month’s Women’s Group Luncheon as we explore how the principles behind Donald Miller’s “StoryBrand” framework can help you clarify your message, strengthen your brand, and communicate your value with confidence. Whether you’re a business owner, corporate professional, nonprofit leader, or entrepreneur, the way you tell your story matters. When your message is clear and focused, people lean in to hear what you are saying. When it’s complicated or unclear, opportunities can be missed.

During this session, we’ll discuss how to:

  • Clarify what you do and who you serve
  • Position yourself and your organization as a trusted guide
  • Simplify your messaging so it resonates and builds trust
  • Articulate your value in a way that is confident, compelling, and memorable

This conversation isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room — it’s about being the clearest. Because while many people may offer similar services or hold similar roles, the story only you can tell is the one that sets you apart. Join us for an engaging and practical luncheon designed to help you refine your message and elevate your impact — personally and professionally.

Bowles Ave Area Friends... Let's Get Together In Your Neighborhood!
Meeting members & supporting businesses... one neighborhood at a time!

The Fenton Chamber is bringing the connection closer to you with our monthly In Your Neighborhood events! Designed to meet members where they are, this program takes us on the road to local businesses throughout Fenton and surrounding communities—spotlighting our members and strengthening relationships along the way. Each month, we pop into a different “neighborhood” for breakfast, lunch, or after-hours networking at a Chamber member location. These relaxed, come-and-go gatherings make it easy to connect with Chamber staff, meet fellow members, and build relationships with nearby business owners you might not see at other events.

While all are welcome, we make a point to personally invite members and prospective members who live or work nearby—creating a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere that’s all about connection, visibility, and support. Come support a local business, grow your network, and be part of what makes our business community thrive… one neighborhood at a time!

Join us for this month’s Connect Over Coffee, hosted by Rockwood Summit High School. As a Chamber committed to strengthening our local business community, we are proud to partner with institutions that serve as pillars of the Fenton area — and Rockwood Summit High School is certainly one of them. Start your morning with fresh coffee, meaningful conversation, and the opportunity to connect in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Our schools play a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders, employees, and entrepreneurs. Supporting and engaging with them is part of our broader commitment to investing in the future of our community. This special edition of Connect Over Coffee offers a meaningful opportunity for business professionals and community members to step inside one of our local schools, build new connections, and strengthen existing relationships in a setting that reflects the heart of our community.

Stop by on your way into work, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take time to connect. Whether you stay for a few minutes or the full hour, you’ll be part of something bigger — because coffee is better with friends, and community is stronger when we show up for one another

Join us for an inspiring luncheon featuring Jennifer Bardot, author and founder of the GRIT Community, a leadership movement centered on Growth, Resilience, Intention, and TenacityFounded on Jennifer’s belief that true strength develops through shared storytelling and lived experience, G.R.I.T. began as a platform to encourage individuals to transform personal adversity into collective resilience. What started with the anthology Owning Your G.R.I.T. has grown into a vibrant multi-book series and an active community that brings professionals together through leadership luncheons, workshops, and authentic conversations focused on growth and connection.

Drawing from her experiences as an entrepreneur, author, and leadership advocate, Jennifer will explore how the principles of growth, resilience, intention, and tenacity can shape stronger leaders and more supportive professional environments. Her message encourages professionals to approach challenges with purpose, learn from lived experience, and build meaningful relationships along the way.

Takeaways: Attendees will gain insight into how the principles of Growth, Resilience, Intention, and Tenacity can strengthen leadership, navigate challenges, and support personal and professional growth. Jennifer will share perspectives on the power of authentic storytelling, cultivating a growth mindset, and building meaningful professional relationships that foster stronger teams and more resilient organizations.

Why This Matters for Business: Resilient leadership and strong professional networks are essential in today’s evolving business environment. Jennifer’s G.R.I.T. philosophy highlights how intentional action, authentic storytelling, and supportive communities can strengthen leadership, improve workplace culture, and help professionals navigate change with confidence.

This luncheon is ideal for business owners, managers, emerging leaders, and professionals who are interested in leadership development, cultivating resilience, and building meaningful connections within the Chamber community.
