Join us for our Tenth Homecoming for Heroes gala on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:30 PM at SC River Ranch in Oakalla, Texas!

The National Mounted Warfare Foundation's Homecoming for Heroes gala was started in 2015 to celebrate our soldiers and veterans and raise funds for the National Mounted Warrior Museum project. Held at the beautiful SC River Ranch in Oakalla, this event continues to be the premier and most fun event in the Killeen-Temple area.

Our theme this year is the Kentucky Derby - the Fastest Two Minutes in Sports! From Derby attire, food, drinks, activities, and watching the race LIVE, this is bound to be a great event you don't want to miss! Attire for this year's event is Derby Best or Texas Casual. Ticket price includes dinner, drinks, entertainment, and activities, including auctions, a raffle, games, and viewing of the Kentucky Derby!
