Stemm's Cafe & Coffee Shoppe is moving to a new location and we hope you will join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate.Their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting will be on July 14, 2023. The Open House is from 4 to 8 p.m. We will cut the ribbon at 5 p.m.
The new location's address is 220 N. Park Ave. in Herrin (you may know it as the Annex.) They will have specials, giveaways, and tasty treats throughout the day.

Join us on July 25th for our July Membership Luncheon at Herrin Civic Center. Mayor Steve Frattini will be providing updates on the City of Herrin at this luncheon and additional city representatives will be in attendance. Food service begins at 11:45 a.m. and the program begins at noon.
Crystal's Catering and More will be catering her famous sandwich boxes. Oasis Outdoors is our sponsor that day and will be giving away a pair of tickets to an upcoming Thrillbillies game!
(To enter to win the tickets- you MUST pre-register for the luncheon.) Registration cuts off on July 21st, so please make sure to get your registration done before then. If you pre-register and can not attend, you are still responsible for paying your open invoice if you do not cancel twenty-four hours in advance.

The Economic Development Committee is charged with evaluating issues and proposals having an economic impact on the community and making recommendations to the Board of Directors, and with suggesting to the Board of Directors initiatives that will foster economic development in the community.
This committee meets in January, April, July, and October on the last Monday of the month at 10 a.m.
