Ackworth Garden Club Big Pumpkin/Giant Sunflower Contest is open to all children K - 12 who reside in Warren County. 

Do you think you can grow the biggest pumpkin or giant sunflower in the county?  Find out by registering for this fun gardening contest. 

Register online beginning on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 but NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 2020 at ackworthgardenclub.blogspot.com

Select the Special Events tab, then Pumpkin/Sunflower Contest and download the registration form.  Print the registration form and take your completed form to McCoy True Value Hardware, 216 N. Howard St., Indianola where you'll pick up free pumpkin and sunflower seed packets to grow over the summer.  Judging for the contest will be held at the Warren County Log Cabin Days Festival on Saturday, September 26 with check-in from 11:15 a.m. - Noon.

Judging will be completed and winners announced after check-in closes but no later than 12:30 PM.  Ribbons and premiums will be awarded.
