The Chamber of Commerce and the Monroeville Job Fair will host the annual Monroe County Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 9-12:30. The job fair will be held at the Coastal Alabama Community College. Interested businesses may register with Tammy Smith at the Monroeville Career Center by emailing tammy.smith@alcc.alabama.gov.

Join us for a Red Cross recruiting event where you'll learn how you can make a meaningful impact in your community.  This event will highlight volunteer opportunities, the mission of the Red Cross, and the many ways you can get involved to support disaster relief, blood services, health and safety education, and assistance for military families.  Whether you're looking to develop new skills, give back to others, or be part of a trusted humanitarian organization, the Red Cross offers a variety of roles to fit your interests and availability.

Monroeville Witches Ride and Ghouls Night Out celebrates the wild and Wacky Halloween Spirit season. Takes Flight to the local streets of the historic downtown. Its a mile route. Gals and their Tribes can participate dressed as witches, riding their bikes and throw candy to all the little monsters at the completion of their fun journey. All families are welcome to come out and enjoy! Children are asked to be accompanied by an adult to safely walk the sidewalks while witches fly by. Our merchants will have extended hours until 8pm. The Witches Den Parties celebrating their ride will occur in all the restaurants. Trophies will be awarded for 6 categories! Fee is $15.00 for each rider and $30.00 for each T shirt.

The City of Monroeville hosts Trick or Treat downtown in a safe enviornment with Merchants, Civic Groups and Churches. We are asking everyone to be dressed in the Halloween Spirit with their children. We will host children and Adult Costume Contests in between both Courthouses 6-6:30pm . Please support the RSVP Fundraiser and enjoy food and snacks at reasonable prices with all funding going to United Way for the past 12 years!
