Geared for 3-5 year olds, but all are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult or babysitter.  This is an unsupervised event.

SUMMER “BRICK-TIME”: Wednesdays: June 12, 19 & 26  July 10, 17, & 24    9:30 – 10:15 A.M.
Geared for 1ST—6TH GRADERS.  Brick-Time is an “open” building time.  The Osage Public Library has a variety of basic plastic building bricks, doors, windows, wheels and figures.  This is an unsupervised event.

Please meet us at the specified park where we will eat lunch and have a short program and activity based on a nature-themed book. This program is FREE and there is no registration required. Back by popular demand—Kayak & Paddleboard Programs! Have a great time out on some of Mitchell County Conservation Board's beautiful water areas with our new kayaks and paddleboards! This is a FREE program hosted by Natural Resource Tech Andy Taets. We have 6 kayaks, 1 double kayak, and 2 paddleboards available for use at these programs. If you have your own kayak or paddleboard and would like to join the guided tour, please let Andy know the date you will be attending. Once you have signed up for a date, you will be contacted with the specific meeting time and location. Life jackets, paddles, and kayaks/paddleboards will be provided. Basic paddling instructions are included. All ages welcome, but participants must be old enough to control their own boat. Catch Will Bartz's solo project Erwin Wilhelm Otto at Limestone Brewers. Former member of The Euclids, Bartz has recently relocated back to Iowa after living in Nashville for the last three years. During his time with The Euclids, Bartz worked with Grammy award winning producer Joe Trevino as well as producer John Elefante formerly of the band Kansas. Bartz’s new solo project will be featuring an upcoming album heavily influenced by groups like Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, Jet, and The Shins, among other rock and indie rock artists. Expect a mix of indie, rock, pop, and country covers along with originals from Erwin Wilhelm Otto’s self titled album.

FFF – Food, Fun and Fellowship begins our 5th season of free community picnics, furnished by Osage 1st United Methodist Church, in Osage City park .   Enjoy music, kids games and picnic supper with friends and neighbors.

Free picnics will be served from 5-7 pm on the following dates.

August 4th will be a special noon picnic following a 10:30 am Cowboy Church service.

Sept. 29th

Same location, north shelter of Osage city park.
