The lecture is offered in conjunction with Robert's retrospective exhibition, Unexpected Bateman, featuring over 80 original paintings from the families personal collection spanning 80 years. The exhibition opens at the Penticton Art Gallery on Friday July 5 and continues through to Saturday September 14, 2024.
Following the lecture and Q & A period, the audience is invited for a special Meet & Greet with the artist. Bateman's books and a selection of limited-edition etchings will be available for purchase. If you already own a piece of Bateman's work, a book or photograph you are welcome to bring this with you for signing.
