Many hundreds of women, globally and individually, worked very hard to give us the right to vote, equality in the workplace, better daycare, maternity leave, educational opportunities, and so much more.
Over the past decade, we have been losing ground.
It is time to move forward – not as a suffragette movement – but to spread the word that we can have happy and fulfilling lives and still take care of our families, that we matter, that there is life after 60, that we can find friends and laughter and joy and peace after huge transitions in our lives (moving, fleeing from another country or from down the street, empty nest, career changes, death of a parent or partner, etc)
