Come get your hands dirty and create your very own Kokedama Moss Ball.
This is the traditional Japanese Technique of exposing the root ball of the plant then wrapping it in a mud ball then covering it with soft green moss. You use your creativity to wrap with Jute to secure the moss.
Each attendee will choose the plant they prefer to create there unique Kokedama.
Decorative beads and jute are also provided to create a hanger, or you can choose an antique plate to display your creation.
No experience needed. Prepare to get your hands dirty. Design direction and care will be covered.
Cost is $50.00 per Person and includes everything you need to create this adorable plant arrangement. Build one 6" Plant or two 4" Plants.
You will have samples to look through, inspiration for your colours and design. Every design on display is beginner level friendly!
Before you begin creating your wearable art, there will be a hands-on demonstration, this is the moment you experience just how easy our art can be.
Choose your colours and take your turn floating the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water, then use marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create your design.
Together we will print your floating design onto your silk scarf...so you can take home your wearable, washable art!!!
Tickets include all supplies to make your 14x72 inch silk scarf and a complimentary glass of wine.
