The 43rd Annual Red River County Historical Society Fall Bazaar with 17th Annual Rotary Duck Race, 5th Annual Clarksville Main Street Festival of Quilts Exhibit and Red River County Car Show is on October 7, 2023. The Fall Bazaar begins at 9:00 a.m. on the grounds of the Historic Red River County Courthouse in Clarksville,Texas. The Clarksville High School band opens the event with the National Anthem and music from their half time show performed at football games ans closed with the school song. Craft booths and food vendors line the streets. The Clarksville Rotary Club serves a fish plate with all the trimmings from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by the duck race down Deleware CreeK at 3:00 p.m.. The Festival of Quilts Exhibit is at the First Presbyterian Church from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and the car show is on the downtown square. Thursday, October 19, 2023
The 99th banquet of The Historic Red River County Chamber of Commerce is on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Clarksville High School Auditorium. Tickets are $20.00 and may be purchased at the door. Following a catered meal, the introduction of guests and board members, our speaker, Richard Scully, CEO of Chamber Nation, which is a company the Chamber of Commerce contracted with in January 2023 to provide a new member management system, a membership services department, a membership advertising network, a membership website system and technology support, will provide a power point presentation to show all of the enhanced services offered to the members of the Chamber of Commerce.
