You are invited to be part of an exciting event in our community—the UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation’s "Ticket to Paradise" Gala. This special evening will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at The Brownwood Hotel and Spa. The event will bring together hundreds of attendees for a night of celebration, all while raising funds to launch a “Comprehensive Breast Health Program at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital, dedicated to providing exceptional care, support, and resources for individuals facing breast health challenges.”This year, we expect more than 250 guests, many of whom are local leaders, influencers, and community supporters, who are passionate about making a positive impact. This year’s theme, "Ticket to Paradise," will whisk our guests away on a tropical adventure filled with island-inspired cuisine, vibrant entertainment, and an array of exciting auction opportunities.

The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosts a bimonthly lunch meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of every other month. The Chamber uses this meeting as a way to help educate their members and attendees with relevant information for our local businesses.
