This is a new adaptation based on the beloved characters from Carlo Collodi’s “Pinocchio: The Adventures of a Marionette.” Watch as three players set up their stage and tell the legend of the wooden puppet who came to life. With the help of masks, costumes, and shadow puppetry they will portray over a dozen of characters; like Geppetto, Pinocchio, The Cricket, The Fox, The Cat, The Blue Fairy, and many more!

As part of National Medicare Education Week – leading up to Medicare Annual Enrollment (Oct. 15-Dec.7) - UnitedHealthcare is hosting three free, educational events in Tucson designed to help equip seniors, Medicare beneficiaries, their families and caregivers with the knowledge they need to make informed, confident decisions about their Medicare coverage.  The events will take place Wednesday, September 18, starting at 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m., at the UnitedHealthcare MedicareStore (4811 East Grant Road #119, Tucson, AZ 85712).

Fast for Hunger is a one-day event during Hunger Action Month to raise awareness of the issues surrounding hunger and poverty in southern Arizona. 1 in 4 kids and 1 in 5 adults are at risk for hunger in Arizona. Tucson Local Media is looking to honor the top executive leaders in our region. Formerly the CFO Awards, we have expanded our award categories to include multiple positions of leadership within organizations. 

NOMINATE BELOW

Our five Tucson Local Media publications — Inside Tucson Business,
Explorer News, Marana News, Foothills News and Desert Times 
— will work together
to gather nominations received. They will then be submitted to a panel of independent judges who are tasked to name the top three finalists in each category.

Submission Details
Nominations must be made on-line. Please select both a category for your business (Large Company, Small/Medium Company, Non-Profit, or Public Service/Education) followed by a category for your executive, CEO*, COO*, CFO*, or Executive Level Department Leader (*or equivalent title for their business). 

Who Is Eligible
Executive level leaders in Oro Valley | Marana | Sahuarita | Tucson| Green Valley | Pima County who are making a significant impact in their industry and community. 

Awards Dinner
Finalists will be our guests and recognized during an awards dinner on November 13, 2019 at the Desert Diamond Casino Diamond Center, 1100 W Pima Mine Rd, Sahuarita.
