| 3/2/2024 | St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase Special School District is proud to co-host the 3rd annual St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase with the Affton, Pattonville, and Rockwood school districts. Families and students in grades 6 through 12, as well as recent graduates, are invited to these FREE events to experience a variety of careers through interactive exhibits and discussions with industry professionals. Sponsored by American Welding School, the showcases will connect attendees to exciting and fulfilling job opportunities, many requiring training instead of a traditional, 4-year degree. Regional employers seeking young talent will be ready to share information and guidance about career pathways, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, and public safety. Some industries will offer hands-on activities and opportunities to work with equipment to ensure students enjoy an immersive experience. Events are planned for the following dates and locations:

| 3/23/2024 | 3rd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza - - Community Event We are so excited to welcome Fenton area residents and families of our Chamber business community to our third annual Easter Eggstravaganza! The morning will kick off with our first of three egg hunts open to children of all abilities; egg hunts will be staggered according to age group: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years. All egg hunt participants will receive a goody bag to take home with them. Stick around after (or come before) the egg hunt as we will have a kids area with several bounce houses, photo area to get pictures taken with the Easter bunny, craft & activity area, food & drinks, plus other exciting age-appropriate games and entertainment. more info... |
