Role Abstract
The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of mortgage servicing transactions. This position coordinates and performs all aspects of serving related functions once the mortgage loan is funded.

Responsibilities
•Ensure that all new loans are on-boarded accurately on the mortgage servicing software and that all notifications, i.e. welcome letters are processed
•Process and post mortgage payments
•Escrow administration and maintenance to include payments on taxes, home-owner’s insurance premiums, MI, etc. Update mortgage servicing system for all escrow and non-escrowed accounts
•Handle all areas with respect to payoff requests including initiating payoff statements, processing loan payoffs, and sending required correspondence
•Perform final escrow summary and notification on paid off loans
•Review internal and external reports. Perform required reporting to third parties, investors and government agencies. Assist customers via phone, mail and e-mail with questions regarding their accounts
•Track all customer requests and complaints
•Complete duties as required by policies and procedures for delinquent loans
•Support management with projects as required

Requirements
•Solid organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Skills

•Prior mortgage servicing experience
