11:30 am – 1:30/2:00 pm Join us at the historic Gutiérrez Hubbell House in Albuquerque’s beautiful South Valley village of Pajarito to enjoy a line-up of relaxing cultural events.
*Enchiladas - A global journey to New Mexico *Land, Water and Agriculture *A home at the Heart of Pajarito – Home Life and History of Gutiérrez Hubbell House
(Please park on the south side of the Hubble House off of Hubble Circle) 6029 Isleta Blvd SW Jason’s Deli boxed lunches
(Sponsored by Jason’s Deli/AHCC C&T, and also Pepsi sponsored drinks and snacks) will be distributed at the picnic tables under the shade tree (Bring a blanket and enjoy
your lunch picnic style in a shaded area outside of the Hubble House, or tailgate it under a shade tree in the parking lot. Volunteer/Docents will be available to give
tours or you can wander about on your own.
1:45/2:00 pm – 2:30 pm Enjoy, homemade biscochitos and ice-cold refreshments being served at Kathy Duffy’s beautiful South Valley home and outdoor garden areas (about a 2-minute drive,
up the road on the other side of the street from the Hubble House - 6364 Isleta Blvd SW) Sponsored by: The South Valley’s very own “Pajarito Woman” herself, Kathy Duffy.
2:45 pm Check-in to the Holiday Inn and Suites Airport (1501 Sunport Place SE) and freshen up for dinner. Their special $75 rate includes Keurig coffee, microwave, and fridge;
they also have a fitness center, indoor pool, and their restaurant is open for breakfast 7 am – 10 am, and their bar is open from 5 pm to 8 pm.
4:30 pm Enjoy a delicious dinner at Abuelita’s authentic New Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque’s beautiful South Valley. They have reserved their outdoor patio areas for us (so be
sure and bring a light jacket or wrap) we will be ordering off their menu.
