Steel Days 2018 Downtown Market Vendor (by the Carnival)

Event Description
The Downtown Market is an exciting NEW Steel Days event we are introducing this year! The Downtown Market will coincide with Carnival at Robinson Park. Vendors will have a great opportunity to reach the thousands of individuals that attend the Carnival every year.
The Downtown Market will run approximately the same hours as the Carnival. Lighting will not be provided at the Downtown Market. Therefore, we recommend vendors close at dusk.
Thursday, July 19th: Noon - 9:00 p.m.
Friday, July 20th: 10:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 21st: 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.*
*The Grand Parade will shut down State Street starting at 7:30 a.m.. Please plan accordingly to arrive at your booth. The parade goes from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (approximately). We anticipate decreased foot traffic at the Downtown Market during this time.
Please choose your place on the booth map that is overlaid on the street and parking lot just north of the City Administration Building (runs West to East from Historic City Hall to 100 East and North toward the Presbyterian Church). Each booth space is approx. 10' x 10'. If you need more space, then you must pay for each additional booth space that you would like to use. This will be your assigned booth space for the Downtown Market. We will do everything in our power to make sure your assigned booth space is your actual space for the event. (If changes occur, we will put you as close to your desired space as possible.)
We ask that business and food vendors* arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. to start the set-up process (vendors can start arriving for set-up at 9 a.m.). Once you have finished using your vehicle for setting up we ask that you park in the empty parking lot by the Presbyterian Church. The street will be closed to traffic until 9:00 p.m. each evening and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Please plan accordingly for set-up and take down of your booth.
*Food Vendors - All soda sales will be done by the Chamber of Commerce (please do not bring soda/fountain drinks to sell).
