Come and see the amazing artistic talent in our community at this year's Steel Days Art Show. The 2021 Art Show will be exhibited at the American Fork Library (64 S. 100 E.) from Wednesday, July 7 to Tuesday, July 13. The Art Show is FREE TO THE PUBLIC and all local artists are invited to showcase their artwork!

Age Divisions: Youth and Adult. The Youth category is split into High School, Junior High, Intermediate (grades 4-6), Primary (grades 1-3), and Kindergarten/Preschool. The Adult category is split into Experienced (professional artists with at least 5 years of experience) and Novice (beginning artists).

Adults: $10 per entry
Youth: $5 per entry

Art Drop-off will be on Tuesday, July 6 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the American Fork Library.
Art Entry Rules
- All participating artists need to register before Sunday, July 4 at midnight
- Limit of two entries per artist
- All 2-D artwork in youth and adult divisions must be framed with a wire hanger on the back (diagram 1). Any entry that does not have a wire hanger (diagram 2) will be disqualified to enter the show and the entry fee will be forfeited and donated to the city of American Fork
- A printed copy of the confirmation email must be shown at the art drop-off
- Artwork must not exceed 36 inches in any direction
- Entries must not exceed 15 pounds
- All art entries must be picked up at the AF Library on Tuesday, July 13

Awards: Professional artists in the American Fork Visual Arts Program will select the art for awards. Entries in the Youth and Adult Divisions may be awarded first, second, and third place ribbons with small cash awards in each category. Honorable mention awards may also be given. Special awards are "Best of Show," "Mayor's Choice," "Chamber of Commerce Choice," "Friends of the Library Choice," and "Timpanogos Arts Foundation’s Choice".
Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony: An artist reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Robinson Park (100 E. Main St).
Art Release: Art release will be Tuesday, July 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All artwork must be picked up before the AF Library closes. Any artwork not picked up on that date will be taken to the Art Center on 53 West Main Street, American Fork and be fined a $10 storage fee. Artwork left at the Art Center after 30 days will become the property of the Timpanogos Arts Foundation.
