Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on the Scavenger Hunt to help celebrate the Chamber's 75th Anniversary. Our original app platform did not work out and we have spent the past several weeks researching and testing other options. We have found an app that will work and that meets our needs and are excited to get going. In order to ensure the most successful launch and utilization of the Scavenger Hunt, we need a few more weeks to finalize challenges from Chamber members and promote the activity to the general public. We want to make sure as many members as possible are given the opportunity to participate in the Scavenger Hunt and properly upload the information into the system. 

After discussing with community and business leaders and our Board of Directors, we will officially launch the Scavenger Hunt on June 1st and have it run June 1-30.

Every challenge will be worth the same amount of points (we want every business to have the same opportunity to interact/engage with participants). 

There are five ways that a company will be able to participate:

1) Photo - have participants upload a photo into the app. This can be a photo at your store, a screenshot of your website or facebook page, etc. You can even have them post the photo on their social media page and tag your business. However, in order for the participant to get points they will need to upload the photo onto the app.

2) Video - same principle as the photo but this will be a video.

3) Trivia Question/Password - you can ask a question or give a clue and have a specific answer that must be entered into the app. Example: What year was the American Fork Chamber of Commerce founded? Answer: 1946 (the participant could call the Chamber, look on the website, do a search to find the answer)

4) QR Code - the participant will need to scan a QR code that we generate from the app and send to you. You can post it on your website, social media, or print it and have them come to your location to scan it.

5) Geo-Location - we enter a specific address into the system and the participant must travel to that location while using the app. The app will recognize the location and mark the challenge as 'completed' once that person gets within a certain radius (5 meters) of the address.
