Discover how the iconic "Mother Road" shaped Missouri communities, fueled local businesses, and continues to influence tourism, economic development, and community pride today. Drawing from her work as a public historian, Amanda will offer a fresh perspective on how preserving and sharing local history strengthens community identity, supports tourism, and inspires future generations. She'll also highlight the role Route 66 continues to play as communities commemorate its centennial and look toward the future.
