The EU Pay Transparency Directive is set to bring transformative changes to workplaces across all Member States, including Malta. This directive introduces important transparency obligations for all employers in both the public and private sectors, as well as specific reporting requirements for larger employers.
Although Member States are required to implement the directive by 7 June 2026, employers are encouraged to begin familiarising themselves with its requirements and preparing for the significant changes it will introduce. To help you navigate these upcoming obligations, we are hosting an information session to discuss the key aspects of the directive, including:
• Transparency requirements applicable to all employers
• Reporting obligations applicable for larger employers (50+)
During this information session, we will aim to address any questions you may have about the Pay Transparency Directive, its relevance to your organisation, and the preparatory steps you can take to ensure compliance
