We will learn how to save money the easy way...Recycle! Most business owners are unaware of the hefty tax on their garbage. In Ramsey County, garbage service for businesses is taxed at 70%, and in Washington County, garbage service for businesses is taxed at 53%. Joel Anderson, Ramsey County BizRecycling will explain how easy it is to get started with or expand a business recycling program. Although there are a lot of compelling reasons for businesses to do a better job of recycling, one of the biggest incentives is the potential to save money. There are simple things businesses can do to reduce their garbage expenses.
