Albert Cassens Award Nomination
The Albert Cassens Award for Outstanding Community Achievement is presented to an individual who made a significant impact on the community during the two previous calendar years (2023 & 2024).

IMPORTANT – A NOMINEE MUST:
  • have primary involvement in a private sector, profit motivated business with facilities or contributions affecting organizations within the boundaries of Edwardsville CUSD #7;
  • be actively engaged in the company’s leadership;
  • have made a significant impact on the community during the two previous calendar years (2023 & 2024);
  • have earned a reputation for his/her exemplary integrity;
  • given freely of his/her time to the community;
  • have demonstrated support for the guiding principles* and mission** of the Ed/Glen Chamber;
  • have demonstrated a personal commitment to social and/or environmental responsibility;
  • preference given to nominees who are Ed/Glen Chamber members.
PROCEDURE:
  • Nominations shall be confidential.
  • Only the recipient (rather than all award candidates) will be informed and announced.
  • Nominations welcomed from all, provided the proposed candidate meets the listed criteria.

  • When completing this form, please include documents/narratives in support of your nominee. This may include letters of recommendation, resume, news articles, and/or your own personal experience with the individual.
* GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
Chambers of commerce honor and respect capitalism and well-informed private sector job creators as a central and foundational element of regional and national prosperity. Chambers of commerce actively facilitate collaboration and open discussion between business and public officials through education, business advocacy and leadership.
