Southern Heritage Woodworks, located at 1187 Douthit Road, Sylvester GA, manufactures Antique Heart Pine flooring and handcrafted furniture from reclaimed wood recovered from historic structures around the south.
Owned by David and Virginia Acord, Southern Heritage Woodworks is the result of David's passion of the last 20 years - recovering antique heart pine from buildings before they are demolished and turning it into beautiful flooring and furniture for homes throughout the country.
After purchasing a portable sawmill in 1994, David started sawing in his spare time and people soon began hiring him for custom jobs. David not only loves the wood flooring and furniture he creates, he's also passionate about the history of the buildings from which the wood is salvaged.
David and Virginia credit the success of Southern Heritage Woodworks with their competitive pricing, their integrity with their clients and their total devotion to their Lord Jesus Christ.
