2017 Gold Discovery Days

Gold Discovery Days were held at the Plumas-Eureka State Park this Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, and Porta-Saloon was there.  We did not serve beer this trip but instead provided the rustic back-drop of a saloon for hundreds of park visitors who took the time to dress up as minors, soldiers, old western businessmen, and of course the ladies and girls who were in their Sunday best.

Gold Discovery Days is an annual fund raiser for the Plumas Eureka State Park Association or PESPA.  PESPA is a non-profit organization comprized of volunteers dedicated to preserving the parks history and maintaining the parks beauty for thousands of visitors each year.  All funds raised by PESPA go back into the park and contribute greatly toward the parks operation.
