My philosophy of investment management is a balance of Strategic Asset Allocation and Modern Portfolio Theory. A well-constructed investment allocation recommendation is made sensitive to investment risk exposure and based on the results of my client’s financial plan and these key factors; their risk tolerance and aversion, current and future needs, as well as their long-term goals and objectives.
Adjustments are then made to the portfolio over time as market or economic events occur that may alter valuations, yields, volatility, or asset class correlation, and as my clients’ tolerance, aversion, needs, goals, or objectives change.
I do not manage portfolios based on the theories of market timing, event timing, or stock pick trading. I do not have a crystal ball and do not believe that speculation is in the best interest of the majority of my clients.
